Review with Howard Thomas

On reflection, this season has largely been a success. As a team we’ve made huge strides forward from last season without quite hitting the heights of the successful 2016/17 campaign.

There are clearly some areas of improvement, which we will reflect and work on during the off season. We’ve shown that we are more than capable of mixing it with the best teams in the league but our challenge is show this on a more regular basis next season.

Attention now turns to a well earned rest before going back to work in pre-season. With the proposed changes to the season structure the players and coaches have a great opportunity to build solid foundations for the season ahead.

I’d like to thank the players for their efforts this season. I’m fortunate to work with a great group of players who will apply themselves diligently during pre season so that the supporters see a new and improved Aberavon side in 2019/20.
