Centre Callum Carson signs for Aberavon Rugby Club
Aberavon Rugby Club is pleased to announce the signing of centre Callum Carson for the 2022/23 season.
The 23 year-old centre has represented Wales U18s, Wales U20s and Wales 7s. Educated in Gower College and played his junior rugby for Gowerton.
Head Coach Jason Hyatt said.
“Callum is a very talented and naturally gifted rugby player.
He has had offers from other Welsh Premiership and also English clubs, wishing to secure his signature. Therefore, we are delighted that Callum feels that joining the Wizards is best for his all round development both on and off the field – which speaks volumes of all the hard work that goes on by everyone at the Wizards to help maintain a challenging and supportive environment.
Callum Carson added.
“I am really looking forward to a new environment with new players and coaches and to also represent a passionate club with great fans.
It is hoped that I can help add to a successful season and to win trophies.
I am going to bring a lot of passion and drive to be a winner and will put everything on the line for that”.
