Everyone at Aberavon stands in solidarity with the people affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
We believe that in times of immense difficulty, there is strength in unity. That is why as a club we are asking supporters, traveling supporters, players, coaches, friends and families to donate anything they can to help as the conflict in Ukraine unfolds.
Your help will contribute towards the families arriving at the border of Poland, Lithuania and Romania by providing life saving aid, including cash, food and water. Setting up safe spaces for children to play, learn and grieve. Supporting refugees. Whilst funds will help teams to support families with essential supplies including winter kits, offering mental health services, providing cash and vouchers, food, rent and medicines, providing access to safe, inclusive and quality education.
So, we ask you all to please untie in solidarity with the people in Ukraine. Please make any donation you can to support the urgent needs of children and families there.
We will be holding a bucket collection at our home game against Carmarthen Quins on Saturday 12 March and we welcome any donations to be dropped off in the Players Dining Room before 1400 on the same day.
Thank you for your generosity.
