Liam made his club debut against Aberavon Green Stars in 2004 and played his last game v Carmarthen Quins in 2012. Originally an outside half turned full-back, but he became a centre with Aberavon, but his best days were probably at full back under coach Kevin Hopkins. It was at centre though that he and Darren Ryan hit off a fine partnership and friendship. Liam was a goal-kicker, but unfortunately for him, Aberavon had Jamie Davies as their lead kicker. Liam still managed to not only make 199 appearances, but also scored 343 points from 53 tries, 18 conversions and 14 penalties. The Past-Present game was ‘unofficially his 200th for the ‘Wizards’. He had spells with Llanelli and Swansea and has since gone into coaching.
