We are sorry to announce that David Pritchard has left Aberavon with immediate effect. Pritch played 262 games for the club over 14 seasons and was a very popular player both with supporters and his team mates. For a number of seasons in his time with us he was without doubt the best scrum half in the Premiership.
His recent struggles with fitness and Covid (which he contracted last year) allied with increasing commitments with work and his young family have culminated in this decision.
It goes without saying that everyone at the Wizards will be sorry to see him leave after such long service at one club.
