Biography

Shay is a very big young man weighing just over 18 stones and standing at 6 feet 7 inches. He signed for Aberavon from Pontypridd, though he hails from Gilfach Goch. His debut for Pontypridd was in the 2016-17 season and he scored his first Premiership try for Pontypridd at Neath in February 2019. He scored his first try for Aberavon in the Premiership Cup game against Llanelli (home) on 18 September, 2021. He is a site engineer.
