Back five specialist Rhys Thomas returns to ‘the Wizards’ after a short spell with Coventry Rugby.
Aberavon is delighted to announce the recent signing of former Ospreys Academy and Wales U20s forward Rhys Thomas.
Thomas, a former Dyffryn Comprehensive School pupil and Taibach RFC player has previously played for Aberavon twice in two different seasons before moving on to feature for Swansea.
“This is my home club that I have supported for years. I admire their playing style”, said Thomas.
Head Coach Jason Hyatt added. “Rhys is a very experienced quality player and has gained valuable experience within the English Championship.
Rhys has developed into a hardworking and knowledgeable player. He carries hard and is an excellent operator at the lineout.”
