Aberavon Rugby Club are saddened to hear of Will John’s death, aged 92.
Will loved rugby and he adored Aberavon RFC. He was a season ticket holder at the club and sat in the same seat, just left of the dugout, at every home game with his wife Betty who he was married to for 68 years.
Will and Betty lived in Pen Y Cae, Port Talbot, and had two beloved daughters, five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was loved by everyone who met him, he will be missed greatly.
